We will start our Full Day Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco early in the morning.
Our journey will begin as we leave Cusco, heading northwest toward the charming town of Chinchero. As we ascend, we will reach an altitude of approximately 3,762 meters (12,343 feet) above sea level.
The town of Chinchero, known for its vibrant market and skilled artisans, will be our first stop. Here, we will explore its picturesque plaza and visit the ancient Inca ruins. These ruins stand as a testament to the town’s historical significance.
After our visit to Chinchero, we will continue our drive towards the unique archaeological site of Moray. This fascinating site features concentric terraces that resemble a giant amphitheater. We will learn about the Inca’s advanced agricultural techniques and the significance of this site in their civilization.
The altitude here will be around 3,500 meters (11,483 feet). It will be providing us with sweeping views of the surrounding Andean landscape.
