Wonderful overview of the Sacred Valley - We loved our guide, Jonathan and all the sites and information offered. It was a great start to our time in the Cusco area. We saw so much and made... read more the most of our time. The guide kept the tour organized and we were all informed. The lunch spot offered something for everyone. I enjoyed the historical information and our guide was passionate and answered all questions. I took off one star because although it is listed that you will be returned to your hotel, this did not happen and we were all dropped in the Plaza de Armas. It wasn’t such a big deal for us as our hotel was close but others had to get a taxi to get to their hotel. I definitely recommend the tour; just be aware that hotel transfer at the end is not included.
A trip full of learning and laughter! - Had a really amazing time! The explanations were super well done, our Guide really mastered what he was taking about! They also gave a lot of time to take pictures,... read more wich was awesome haha I laughed a lot and had a lot of fun, and the agency really helped me and my friend with some problems we had with our flight, and arranged transporte when we needed! The guide spoke very good english, and my favorite part was learning about how peru's tradicional fabrics are made. 100% recommend them!
A bit salesy, but a very knowledgeable and friendly guide - I did the tour on September 1 and overall would recommend it
The tour was a bit too salesy for my taste, with stops at three places for buying... read more items (including one at a run-of-the-mill convenience stop for chocolate tasting and one in which the textile demonstration barely spoke any English to a combined English/Spanish group, such that I had to translate for the English-only speakers). The buffet lunch was also mediocre, although certainly better fare than the buffet breakfasts and lunches offered in other similar tours.
Nonetheless, our guide was extremely insightful for all the archaeology/nature stops in Chinchero, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Maras salt mines. The tour guide, whose name unfortunately escapes me (Rodolfo?), was able to provide plenty of information in both English and Spanish and was happy to answer the several questions I had. We were also able to complete everything in the tour and still be back in time for dinner. The tour guide and driver were both so dependable with pickup and dropoff as well as with information provided during the tour that I ended up booking a second tour with the tour agent/operator for Rainbow Mountain, which they were able to accommodate on short notice!
Overall, as long as you are OK with the sales part of the tour, the trip was a success and I would recommend this tour specifically and this operator generally.
Gem of an experience to the lake humantay. The transfer from Cusco to the starting point was through a scenic route but the hike was quite challenging especially because of... read more the altitude, but the views along the way compensated for it. Hilda was very nice and friendly and was always around to help us.
